We are looking for an articulate RGN looking to pursue a career as a Nurse Advisor.

In this role you will be visiting Health care professionals across your region to provide training on how to mix and give an Oncology injection. You do not need previous experience within Oncology and we welcome RGN applicants from all specialisms.

To be considered for this Nurse Advisor role you will need to meet the following criteria;

·         RGN Part 1 NMC Register ( 1 Year post registration experience)

·         Current UK Full Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points

·         Confident working independently and managing your diary

·         Happy to travel widely across the region for appointments

·         Excellent communicator with experience teaching and demonstrating to others

Key Responsibilities for this role

• You will be assisting paediatric patient’s transition from secondary care to primary care & preventing re-admission
• You will provide pre-discharge training regarding enteral nutrition and provide follow up support in their home
• Provide training on enteral nutrition, pumps, feeds and PEG site.

To be considered for this important role you will be a Paediatric or a Dual Qualified RGN & RSCN that meets the following criteria

·         You must be a Registered Paediatric/Children’s Nurse or a Dual Qualified RGN Adult and RSCN

·         Previous staff nurse experience caring for patients with enteral nutrition such as PEGs, PEJ’s, TPN’s or NG Tubes (updated training provided)

·         Community based experience an advantage but not essential

·         Training, coaching, teaching or mentoring others is an advantage but not essential

·         Excellent communication skills and a team player

·         Full driving licence with no more than 6 points

This job is Monday- Friday, full time.

Our client specialises in providing continence assessments to patients in their own homes. Our client has extensive ranges of continence and stoma products and a well-respected team of independent Nurses also providing advice, training and support to patients, carers and healthcare practitioners in the community.

They are currently looking for a Registered Nurse/Staff Nurse/Community Nurse/District Nurse to manage a caseload of patients in the North East.

You will be advising your patients on continence products including intermittent self catheterisation, drainage bags, sheaths and pads and help patients choose products that best fit their needs.

To be considered for this exciting Nurse Advisor role you will meet the following;

• RGN/Registered Nurse/Staff Nurse/Community Nurse/District Nurse with current NMC Registration
• Experienced within continence care and ideally catheterisation
• A confident and articulate communicator
• Able to work both alone and as part of a team
• Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
