Paediatric Nurse or Adult Nurse willing to work with Paediatrics

 Salary up to £31.5 K (depending on experience) + company car + excellent package

including phone, laptop, private healthcare, contributory pension, 25 days’ holiday plus BHs (+ option to purchase extra days p/a), NMC and RCN fees paid

 Full Time Monday- Friday (occasional out of hours shifts)

 Are you a Registered Staff Nurse ( RGN, RSCN or RNLD) looking for a new career? This is an excellent opportunity to specialise in enteral nutrition with paediatric patients.

 Territory: Glasgow and West Scotland

 (The majority of work will be in Glasgow with travel when required to Ayrshire, Dumfries and Lanarkshire)

You will be part of a team of Registered Nurses and Care Assistants providing training to patients in their own home on using enteral nutrition. You will also train Hospital Nurses, District Nurses and Residential Care Nurses on using feeding pumps and managing PEG sites.

 Key Responsibilities for these roles; 

·         Working closely with Dieticians and Nurse Specialists at Hospitals where our client’s feeds are preferred option for patients requiring enteral nutrition

·         Managing a caseload of paediatric patients, providing pre-discharge support and follow up training at home regarding enteral nutrition, using infusion pumps and feeds and PEG site management

·         Delivering training sessions for Nurses in Hospitals and the Community on enteral nutrition

 This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse with previous PEG feeding experience looking to specialise in nutrition or develop their career. Full training and field support is provided and Adult  Trained Nurses will be given full training  to enable them to confidently manage the paediatric case load.

 To be considered for these important Nurse roles you will be a Registered Nurse or District/Community Nurse (RSCN, RGN or RNLD) with;

·         Experience caring for patients receiving enteral nutrition

·         Excellent communication skills – training, coaching, teaching or mentoring others is an advantage

·         Full UK driving licence
